  • @kroser1983 furthermore the way that 500`s works its good for me, it is plain, simple banging on pads :) without any fireworks and stuff that makes you distracted. 5000 have bulit in synth... I will be very happy to have those :)

  • @kroser1983 Im disagree. Mpc swing? I thought that swing comes from producer, not from gear. Sound quality? With good interface you can achive outstanding quaility with pc, trust me. And then If you want it to sound like analog you should get analog, tube compressor. I didnt have chance to look at 5000`s sequencer, so I cannot say anything about it. Im Propellerheads Reason fan, so I learn how to use seq there very fast, I can very quickly write down my ideas there.

  • @ukaefman and with the mpc 5000 all these silly little problems go away, u can do it all with the 5000, heck i can plug a mic in and start rapping, a guitar and start recording, master everything with the HD recorder. and the major difference with a pc and an mpc is sound quality. also the sequencer on an mpc is a great deal better then most software base seq. and if many people didnt notice most softwares now give u the option to have a imitated mpc swing.... why? because its so dam GOOOOOOOOOD

  • Elegancko - na jakich płytkach można twoje bity posłuchać ???

  • daaaamn boy you got some skill...keep doin' your thing...peace!!!

  • agree. I often turn my monitor off when I record midi events. It is my feeling about using PC sequencers like cubase or reason. Watching vertical line which shows you where you are and little rectangles which are representing bars and beats killing MY creative thinking. I made too much beats, so now I have to run away from my habbits. You know what I mean, 1/4 bar snare, 3/4 snare, hihats each 1/8 of bar...

  • (however the up-side to the MPC500 is that its alot more fun to make a beat where you can get funky with it and tap out your sounds on the pads then it is to try and get funky whilst clicking a mouse, the hands on thing is what i like most about the mpc) in my opinion it needs a built in tuner that tells you what notes the sounds coming out of it are, cos its way to time consuming to harmonise other instruments to a sample that you dont know the musical notation of

  • yeh, the mpc500 is great for its mobility, i dont know too much about the statement that the computer monitor kills creativity, im a million times more creative using software then i am using the mpc because i have much more stuff at the tip of my fingers (Well.. the click of a mouse lol) i think apathy kills creativity haha im not saying either way is better then the other, but im just saying the downside to the mpc is that it is restricted by its limited features whereas software is expandable

  • Main reason that I bought 500 is battery supply. Im traveling a lot by bus, so I can use that time to do something creative. And Im sure that good software like Reason with help of ReWired VSt plugins and good audio interface is most powerfull production solution ever. And very comfortable. Although I think that computer monitor kills creativity :)

  • Jaka dumna twoja kuzynka z Ciebie ! <3 ♥

    Pozdrawiam . Buziaki :)
