I didn't realize that eggnogg uses raw eggs..isn't this claimed to be bad to eat/drink raw eggs??? I love egg nogg anyway, especially with the alcohol in it..

Looks good. I've never separated the whites from the yolks first--thanks for the tip. I know Maker's Mark is your thing, but if you've never tried it, definitely mix up a batch with equal parts brandy and spiced rum. Best nog I've ever had.
