I got my tooth abscess done FREE at the Dental University, but I had to wait 4 days before they would see me and by then, I was ready to shoot myself in the head and commit suicide from the searing ice-pick pain. They ended up having to do maxiofacial surgery to remove the tooth and surrounding gum tissue, requiring a bone graft and a temporary implant that injects medicine directly into the infected socket. All said and done, I was very pleased minus bad pain for a week, but it saved me $5,680!

@GayWorldOrder There is a dental school that would probably do it but its in Richmond (a 2 hour drive) and my friend does not have a vehicle. See how the options are kinda limited here.

@SyphusBatterus Wow...I just came across this video and I do hope your friend is ok...because this is from 10 months ago. Did she get her tooth taken care of? I know what it's like, I'm waiting for Monday to get here, so I can go to the dentist. I'm lucky, have insurance and all that, but I cannot imagine being in this pain and not having options like your friend! That's horrible. A young boy died last year from this because his mom did not have the $. This should never happen!

If your friend is brave he can try lancing it himself with a sterilized needle.

Beware of dental schools. SUNY mutilated my mouth, then refused to fix it because I was of "no use" to the students anymore. I need big hel desperately too.

If I find help I'll let you know, but I've been trying for years, and it had destroted my life.
