hey, thanks a lot for this nice video! I would really love to hear that pedal in a track with two or more guitars played through the pedal. I´ve read somewhere that these amp emulations allegedly tend to sound less authentically when several of those get added in a mix. Can you confirm anything of such a statement? Do you maybe have a recording where you play several guitars through the liverpool? That would be really amazing!

Thank you very much for a really great video! I have the same pedal but your video and sound really push me forward! Can you tell me please what exactly TV JONES are in your guitar? Classics? I've upgdated my Squier Jagmaster with TV JONES POWERTRON and POWERTRON PLUS but for now i'm start thinking that it was mistake–Classics has more tone that i love. If they are "Classics" is bridge one "plus" or just regular "classic" ? Thanx again!

I just ordered a Liverpool pedal cos of this vid. Amazing! Got the same guitar - I think - as you on "brown sugar" - really hope I can emulate the tone as well as you did. Ps you should be on commission

i need to change guitar with single coil and humbucker not EMG pickup for using the great sound of my liverpool, maybe i check for a Red special or a rickenbacker.

Thanks for taking the time to show off the versatility of this pedal with very cool sounds to help me decide I need one of these pedals for sure.

Best Liverpool demo I've heard. You really did a great job and convinced me to add this one to my tool chest! Cheers from Wisconsin, USA!

great gear, great playing. thanx a lot! but... can you compare it with LINE6 vox's emulators? (insight PODxx). i love POD, but not really satisfied enouph with their VOX's "heads"
Hope you get as much use out of this pedal as I do, all the Vox tones you need are in there(my other vid compares it to my two real Vox amps). Can be wee bit of work getting the tone you want as the controls are all so sensitive, but now I've had some time with the pedal I'm getting the hang of how to reach the tone I'm after and I posted the vid to give an idea of settings for various tones. The Brown Sugar guitar is a 335 copy made by Country that I've had for 25 years and it's flatwound.

What's your signal path after the Liverpool?
Is there an amp, or is it direct into your recording device?
NeoFauve 1 year ago
The output from the pedal goes straight to digital multitrack. There is a little reverb from the mixer, but other than that it's just a direct from the pedal.

Hi, great demo, really enjoyed the tones you got out of this device. Have you had any problems with excessive hum when recording direct like you are doing? I also read that Tech21 recommends delay effect after the pedal, assume that's what you did for the U2. Cheers

It gives a really clean signal DI. You only notice hum when you really crank the drive and character right up...same as anything else.
Delay before or after pedal depends on the effect you're looking for. For the U2 song the signal path was guitar - delay - Liverpool i.e. the delay before the LIverpool, as if you were playing a pedal into a real amp. Now that I've had the Liverpool a few months I'm really getting the hang of how to use it. Fantastic little box.

Really like the Electric Co, you are getting some great distorted compression. Was that recorded with the strat also?

The pedal seems to do some kind of speaker compression simulation which does a good job of making it seem 'loud'. The guitar for I used Electric Co. was the 335 copy I used for 'Brown Sugar'. Edge uses his Explorer on the version of Electric co. on Under a Blood Red Sky LP and DVD, which gives a much thicker overdriven sound that suits the Vox.
