Bunch of ignorant comments! Paul said not to let the women speak because the women weren't used to bring in the temple so they would just interrupt the preacher . The Corinthians were a mess. Paul was correcting them not telling them women can't preach. Google it!

@wavitrol Yes that is written in 1Timothy there is a statement in 1Corinithians but, if we don't find out why it's written we put doctrines in the church and on women that GOD never intended. When we read the bible we need to know who is speaking to whom their speaking and why their speaking it. We also need to research history, We also need to consider other women that were in the bible. Paul was never against women, only false teachers study of scripture and history confirms this.

I will say, because of the nature of God . . . there are some things He cannot do. For instance . . . He cannot lie, for He is a God of truth. He cannot "NOT LOVE" us, for He is a God of love and endless mercy. I understand the debate of women preachers, based on the scriptures, but we must pray on that and allow God to reveal HIS TRUTH. Amen? Many are called, but the chosen are FEW. Use discernment people. The Holy Spirit will bear witness of GOD'S TRUTH.

God bless @keriGold1 we are not here to judge but if women can't preach can you tell me why when Jesus rose from the dead he first appeared to a woman and sent her to give a message to his disciples( who were men)? He could of just appeared to them but he chose a woman. He was lifting the women up and letting everyone know that women can be use by God too.

Being a Minster in Christ and being a woman you do experience a different type of welcome than men do. But the Word I read says that God will pour His spirit upon all flesh and I do believe women have flesh.

There are several scripture which indicates that in the New Testament a woman in the presence of men cannot take the lead in the house of God . Why they don't want to read the bible and apply it ?

I Timothy 3:2. A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;

I Timothy 3:12. Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well.

I Timothy Chapter 2: 12 etc.etc
