Hi mate. really good review. I will use this when i get my new iphone 3gs in a few weeks. Wont get a 4 cos of their problems. Have you experinced any problems with the 3gs?

@nath0987 Hi. To be honest, I had very little problems with my 3GS but the main thing was the battery. I have had the 4 since day of release and found it to be far less problematic and all this crap about poor reception is hyped up. The only calls I have had drop on my 4 are in places where my 3GS used to drop too. The 4 has around twice the battery life of the 3GS, is faster and FAR more durable. You'll be happy with either though. Hope that helps :)

@addypearce thanks this helped alot. the only i think i will definately go for the 3gs as my phone does tend to meet the floor quite often and researching the drop tests the 3gs looks to turn out better. battery life isnt really a big thing for me as im always round the house so am always a step away from a wall to plug it into

All the 3GS ship with version 3.0 and you only have to buy 3.0 if you have an iPod Touch, it's free for everybody with an iPhone.

There has been an update released to 3.0 now too, which will either come with the phone or automatically be put on through iTunes.
