@XavierMarciano Ohhh I have heard those too, and like I said ... they are all very nice do not me wrong ... I am not putting them down at all. The original version was actually in 1966, I was just 3 yrs old them. Matt Monro, my grandfather had many of his music, and play it often while he was alive. I think those pieces of history are treasures, but life moves on, and out of this new artists I believe this men is the best performer of this song. Thank you for the interesting debate =)

@magicmoonlight Jack jones also does a great version of the song. His 66 is up here on youtube, if you enjoy sarah connors attempt then you will be awe struck jones performance. I still feel williams version is the best but closely followed by jones. As for sarah I would have her much further down the list. I would have her below those I mentioned and the great matt monro or even the original version by richard kiley. But I'm sure you have already heard all those versions and made your choice.

@XavierMarciano I have heard many versions of this song. there is a lady who also sings this very nice. and andy williams is indeed a good version. as you said ... "FOR YOU" that is the version that stands out the best, I respect that. but "FOR ME" this is the version that gets under my skin and touches me the best. and after all .... what life would be without variety? if it we all liked the very same things life would be dull! ;) Thanks for your response =) have a wonderful day.

@magicmoonlight Have you heard andy williams version of this song? For me, it's williams version that stands out best. In this version with rhydian, the arrangement of the song has been considerably changed. Anyone familiar with the song can you tell this. I'm not sure the changes are for the better either!! The climax of the song is ruined in this version, it has been totally changed. Listen to williams version and then decide which version you prefer.

This song was my Dad's favorite song, and the last time I ever performed it was at his memorial service 8 years ago.... I have a performance coming up, and I'm going to sing it as a surprise for my Mom.
I decided to see how other singers sang this song, and Rhydian's video is the first one I came up on.... I literally started crying because he sang it so beautifully. I hope that I can do the song justice, like he did.... For my Mom, for my Dad, and for myself....

I had to stop again to listen to this gorgeous man's voice.
I have heard a few versions of this song
but this man "TOPS" them all!
is a female vocalist Sarah Connor, but to me is second best to this.
I hope this video will stay here forever - more!!
