turbo diesel malibu

1980 chevy malibu ...i built last year,,

85 idi with zollner pistons, pump maxxed out, big t6 turbo ,c6 trans , 273 Ls rear.

runs on veggie oil too...

What's a good american v8, and car, to add a first time turbo too? I already built a natually aspirated 375hp 80 z28. But, it needed aluminum heads. yes I could add the turbo to this car I suppose, but I want to do it on a total budget rather than dig in on this. Maybe even a truck, but 2wd not 4wd for me. like a 10psi no intercooled model.

old chevy trucks are cheap and fun to boost,, just build a blow through carb and weld up some piping and go have fun...

Heck yea Ryan. This thing will either love propane or blow up. I'm thinking like 12 psi of propane and like 10psi boost. Should be good for ehh 450hp and 800 ft lbs I hope
