@shadowkiki55 I think i'm on a separate layer. I opened the same you did and the drawing (the original) is below the transparent. and when I'm done tracing the lines, I press the "eye" (which hides the layer) and it only shows me the 3rs layer's blank page. As if the lines didn't stick hehe

I have a really bad problem, and I can't seem to find the answer as to how to fix it anywhere. Can you please answer it? You know how you have two windows open other than the drawing window itself? One on the left and one on the right. I just downloaded Gimp 2, and when I open it I have the helping window on the left, but I don't have the window you see all the way on the right on your screen. And I need it to color and stuff. Please help me?

@xNightKissx Well I think what I did to get it back (I accidentally got rid of it before somehow...) was messing with the options under the windows tab... if you're having troubles with it I might be able to help, so tell me if even when you messed around with it if you can't figure it out...

thank you so much for the great tutorial!! It really helped!
I just have one question.... I have all the 3 layers but when I press the "eye" on the second (the original drawing) it doesn't show the lines and the first is transparent. It only shows a blank page =/

@FeatherGoblinfly
It took me a bit to realize what you were talking about but make sure you are on a separate layer than the drawing itself. I'm not sure if I answered your question correctly, but if I didn't just tell me...

Ah this is really great ^^ but I'm having some problem if u could help me out...erm, I realize that when u draw your lines, they kinda get thinner and more slender at the end, ah...somehow I can't get that...I followed what u did but...:/

@grassgrows8 If you're still having this problem, are you sure you are using the ink tool and clicking the box emulate brush dynamics? It's been quite a while since I've worked with gimp (it doesn't like to cooperate anymore) so I'm going off of memory...
