billions for banks is no problem, yet if the "stimulus" went only to small and medium sized business we'd have jobs galore, Of course the transnationals disdain too much competition. There is no being accountable when you "lower taxes" but spend into a deficit, because that is merely a hidden tax. Our "system" is a one party system and we're not in it !

Once that ten trillion you want to see sucks another 10% of jobs away, how much you gonna ask for to provide THEM with benefits. It's an unsustainable system. Then again, that's probably the idea.

I don't get what the big deal is. The democrats passed a bill that they wouldn't pass any more bills without being able to pay for them.

Jim Bunning is making them keep to their word. He's not holding up anything. He want's them to extend benefits, just actually find the money to do it with.

What's the problem? It's not like the government creates money, they have to take it from somebody. Just account for it!!!

the free money or "stimulus" should only go to the richest people in the world, and we should call it "socialism" to confuse the ignorant masses. Rich people should have a completely unchecked prerogative and be allowed to confuse every issue w/ thier media monopoly. Also, we need to print as much money as possible so as to impoverish the middle class. That will be easy because they are already poor and as we make that illegal they will know what all these prisons are for.
