Another bug flew in the window and onto the wall. This time it was a Lightning Bug. I do like these critters and they're pretty harmless too. Reminds me of the days of my youth where I'd capture, put a bunch of them in a jar and watch them late at night. They do however make a small stink on your hands once you've handled a few. Again, he was safely escorted back outside. ;)

Its not a firefly its a click beetle.
Fireflys are matte black and have a redish crest... and they, um, flash...
But whatever I still like this video.

this is not that rare for when i go on vacation.there is tiny of mini ones flying around and even glow worms and we get to watch them hatch of there shell thingy

I've held fireflies in my hands before and that beetle on the wall is 3-4 times larger than a firefly. I know that fireflies are beetles and there are more than 8,000 varieties of beetles, so that doesn't help us...and YOU weren't there either so YOU don't know whether they saw it flash or not.

Yes it is. Fireflies are a type of beetle, look it up. And you weren't there so you don't know if they saw it flash or not.
