Minecraft - Fluttershy Pixel Art - 15,156 Blocks!

Across 16 hours and 15,156 placed blocks I created the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic character Fluttershy!

Custom texture pack has exact color matched...made by me.

Only mods/commands used is /give and stackables, layout was made from a picture I found online and scaled/modified in Windows Paint, I tried to stay as legit as possible, I dont believe in using WorldEdit, real talent comes from doing things yourself, not letting something do it for you.

dude, when i used paint so i can get the pixels, the outline and skin colors are like abunch of diffrent shades of yellow, what should i do?

@CrazedWhiteGamer Pick the color you want for each area (skin outline, skin tone) and color them pixel by pixel until you get a good smooth line and a sharp transition from one color to the other...its hard to do at first but after a while it becomes second nature.

Sometimes you can find pictures that has no transitions at all, try to stay away from JPEG images and go more for PNG/BMP images, you can cut down on search sizes by just including the extension in the search (ex: "PNG Fluttershy")

@JeffStaples1982 Oh so thats how people use paint to make stuff easier to pixelate. Thnx man, even though im only on her first two hoofs, its looks MUCH better. Hoping if i have anymore questions you can awnser them in the future

@JeffStaples1982 Hey, thanks aging for telling me how to smooth out the colors on paint. I finally completed My FIRST ever pixel art (Well, really big pixel art) and it was Fluttershy. idk how many blocks i used cause i dont got the program to count for me like you did. But based on what it said in the Statistics page, i estimate around 20460 block (give or take). Not trying to show off but im happy. My next one by votes from my friens will be applejack. Wish me luck

@JeffStaples1982 I realy Respect Minecraft Authors who made their Art work with no Mods! Its takes mush more time and work, but you did it all by yourself every single block with love and feelings =)
