Take your weight x 15 (calories to maintain current weight)= current average caloric intake
subtract 500 from that to lose 1 lb
750 to lose 1 1/2 lbss
1000 to lose 2 lbs
a week

my goal was 1775 at 183 lbs, i'm 182 now

fat goal =
take caloric goal / 9
that's the healthy fat balance

mine's 49.3

you update this every week

  • I totally agree about fad/crash diets! A lifestyle change is definitely the way to go :) Yay for breakfast!! I am such a breakfast fiend, I love it so much. I get SO hungry without it. That journal looks fantastic!! Bahahaha, I LMAO at the end...gotta love accidentally dialling someone!

    Just gotta say that I am so impressed with all these changes you've made Tiff! You are obviously so committed and motivated, and the journal is a great tool. :D xo

  • @Schmeggyroo Yeah! I never realized how badly I was treating my body without it lol thanks so much again! I feel more motivated pinpointing problems you know like the hypothy, I went to get my blood checked, and the your thyroid is supposed to max at 4.0, and mine was at 5.93 something, and now with the medicine it's at 2.4! and yes omg it was so funny he was like "okayyy let's go get healthy!" LOL

  • @lucidparody Absolutely! I have been terrible to mine, really need to start eating healthy again - budget can be so restrictive though! I bet it has made a huge difference knowing about the hypothy, at least you could focus on a plan then! Wow, your levels have come down tonnes! :D
