I know this is a bit off-sync, but it'll have to do. I think I did something wrong when rendering the video. :/

Lyrics:

They are hiding away
Chanting in order to summon them
The pan-dimentional, godlike ones

Forever to be subdued
By their superiors

The legion spawns
One entity at a time

Cities fall, their rule commence
The army of Gods are unstoppable
In the sign of Baphomet they march
Laying waste to all mankind

Hiding away
Chanting in order to summon them
The pandimentional, godlike ones

Minions of those
Who are independent to light, time and space
Conjure their presence now

Forever to be subdued
By their superiors

The legion spawns
One entity at a time

Cities fall, their rule commence
The army of Gods

Credits and Author's notes:

Thanks to YouTube use ChristForeverDie for the idea of a Number of the Beast sub special!

A big thanks goes to Haakon Koski, a producer stationed in Chicago IL. He did a great job mixing and mastering the audio for me, considering how limited the quality of my raw stems were. He's open for business, so if you need any mastering done, send him an e-mail at hawkkoski@gmail.com.

The video was rendered in 720p HD quality, with an average bit rate of 4 million bps, and a maximum of 10 million bps. A bit redundant one might say, considering the limited quality of the raw footage, but I decided to try to maximize the quality of the final product with all the resources available. The reason for the lacking video quality is bad lighting. The rendering process took 2 hours 42 minutes on an AMD X-2 QL-64 2.1 ghz processor and 4gb DDR2 ram system.

The guitars and vocals were recorded "live" (in single takes). This resulted in a few errors occurring, but I feel that it adds to the sense of playability and viability in a live environment. The drums were programmed based on the speed and skill of "Fraade" drummer Ørger. The piano was synthed using MIDI and a free Native Instruments VSTi called "Kore Player". The piano will most likely not appear in live performances.

This track was written, recorded and produced in November -10, incorporating the limits of my guitar skill, speed and dexterity, and knowledge of harmonization and tempo change dynamics. It is simple in nature, but hopefully somewhat effective. A full studio version might be recorded sometime in the future.

The hardest thing I attempted while recording this was steady, palm muted 16th notes at 200bmp tempo. Needless to say, that didn't work out very well.

Enjoy!

  • Your growls are amazing!

Well, but i think i ilke your screams (Collaboration cover of Beyond the Dark Sun) much more.I am not a real death metal listener, more Viking/Folk/Melodic Death and Wintersun Metal waht ever it is :D ..

With the collaboration video of beyond the dark sun i found your amazing youtube channel *happy* and i am a good and loyal viewer of your vocal tutorials :)

At the moment i learn false chords and black metal vocals.

  • @Pulvertoastman250 I'm glad you like my work! :D

  • @Blikish dude, I saw your collaboration cover of "Beyond the dark sun". Could you make more of that kind of vocal cover?, this is amazing but that was really really brutal

  • @andrewizz To be honest, I'm kinda scared to get copyright strikes on this channel. We'll post more of those on Lorenzo's channel (Aydan86) though, so stay tuned there. :)

  • Hey man! Did you record this stuff by yourself? How did you record the guitars?(equipment) It sounds fucking awesome. Right now I'm thinking about recording my own songs by myself instead of paying money in a professional studio :o

  • @COBRichie Hey there! Thanks for the compliment! :) I recorded both the guitars and vocals through an M-Audio Fast Track I/O into Pro Tools. It's a pretty cheap solution, but as you can hear the audio quality is respectable. The overall price of my current rig (excluding my computer, guitars, mic, cables etc) is roughly 250 dollars. ^^

  • How does a talented youtuber only have 666 subs, youtube has gone to shit.

But look on the brightside, you just earned your 667th subscriber.

  • @KuntOut I compose in Guitar Pro, record (audio) in Pro Tools, record video with my camcorder while recording the audio and mix it all together in Vegas! ^^ I might as well do a complete tutorial on this, since noone else has done it.
