The Real Folk Blues (english version)

"The Real Folk Blues" from Cowboy Bebop, english lyrics and vocals by me. :)

Let's face it -- me doing this song was inevitable. I've been in love with it since as long as I can remember! Yoko Kanno and Mai Yamane created pure magic with the original Japanese version, so I wanted to pay a tribute to that with an English version based on some of the verbatim translation of the song and my own interpretation of it. I know I certainly can't live up to the original, but goshhh, I really love singing this song!

My vocals are accompanied by a wonderful fanmade guitar cover of the song. I was awestruck when I heard it! I hold an utmost respect for talented guitarists. (Check it out here:

Its close to capturing the original song in emotion and beauty. Yoko Kanno and the Seatbelts would be blown away or at least a little impressed :).
