I found this building by following Google Street View down a Public Bridleway off Sheffield Road Conisbrough. From the images, I knew a farm was here but didn't realise it was abandoned. I took a stroll up here one afternoon and it felt very eerie, I'd hate to visit it after dark... I didn't venture inside the house much past the front door because it was too spooky; there was a deep cellar immediately to the right of the entrance which I'd love to investigate one day -- but not on my own! Judging by the debris left behind, I don't think it's been abandoned too long ago but it's quickly fallen into disrepair. The rest of the farmyard was overgrown and scattered with outbuildings, barns, a hut and various semi-demolished buildings. Apparently the farm is called 'Park Lodge Estate' and was up for sale not long ago valued at £2,500,000, judging from the estate agents website, it's actually under offer -- although surely that must have fallen through now! Please see other video parts for more buildings.
What a sad sight,i remember when the farm was 'working back in the 60s .
