This is my grandma's old computer from 1997. It's not really that exciting, and I really only use it to transfer files to my IBM PC XT with it's 5.25" floppy drive.

The specs are:
-AMD-K6 MMX i686 Processor at 200 MHz
-32 MB RAM
-Windows 98 SE
-3 GB Hard Drive
-3.5" 1.44 MB Floppy Drive
-5.25" 1.2 MB Floppy Drive
-CD-ROM RW drive
-Sound Blaster AWE 32 sound card
-VGA Graphics (Max 1280x1024 16 bit color)

P.S. Has anyone ever heard of the computer company "CyberMax" before? I haven't.

  • As I said earlier, that thing sounds just like my iPC computer! What kind of hard drive does it have? My iPC might have the same.

  • @LOLZpersonok I think it's about 8GB, the brand is Caviar

  • Give it a life,install windows 7 on it.

  • @zapper067 I could, but then it'd take like 3 hours just to open calculator haha

  • Maybe this thing will go up to Windows ME, but i really don't recommend ME. Rather install Win2000.

  • @ZVONIMIR111 I had Windows 2000 on here for a little while, and it ran okay while it had 64mb of RAM. But it was an odd mixture of DIMM and SIMM RAM types (this computer can use both) and eventually the DIMM RAM stopped working so all I had was 32mb and it ran way too slow. I've thought about ME, but 98 is more stable.

  • @smartalex61

Caviar? That means the drive was made by Western Digital.

  • @smartalex61 Put win ME.I have a trick that works.Defragment the drive every time!!!;) :D

  • @smartalex61 Could be it...

  • Oh my. Five and a quarter inch floppy drive. Back when they were ACTUALLY floppy. That build might actually play a mean video in DOS using QuickView. I got some 720p videos to play flawlessly with QV, but the sound was an unsupported codec. Other videos worked great! You should turn that thing into a DOS gaming-level rig and throw a Yamaha daughterboard on that sound card to give MIDI some better tune.

  • Put Windows 95 on it and it will work like a charm

  • @crogeek ahahahahah it's just sarcasm... you know??

  • @djgio69 are you fucking idiot?
