High-quality highschool science, technology, engineering, and math curricula, including teacher's guides and other supplemental materials, and it's all free for the download.
Great Video and a amazing resource for K12, CK12.org. Was able to create my own flexbook for chemistry using CK12. Must try for students and teachers!
@Libertarianist if you search google for 'MIT digital lab manual', you can pull up all their online videos for lab practice and the theory. It is university level however, so I'm not sure if that might be a bit heavy duty for what you're after. The MIT ppl will be going on about orbitals, pairs, nucleo/electrophiles, column chromatography and so on.
@TheHomeScientist we just had the exhaust replaced on the car, then I remembered... DARNNNNNNN! There's the catalytic converter in there! 3-4g isn't bad. One of the guys in SciMad has done some work on catalytic converters I think. 3-4g is a decent amount if the converter is free from someone having their's swapped. But yes, it's not at all an easy / safe home chemistry project
i love this idea. i was talking to my mum, just retired from primary education, about the idea of doing home schooling online. in the interviews with Bill C. he's talking about education in remote / third world countries. one solution is a massive online school database full of all these kinds of videos. for the higher levels, MIT has already released some very high quality videos on practical lab work and videos of the theory lectures.
