  • This is not jeep (4x4) this is 4 MOOTION :) VW RULEZ.

  • Hello,

Ok it's not a jeep 4x4 but it's a car with four wheels drive.....quattro, 4 motion..etc, it's a designation, the result is the same : four wheels drive so 4x4!! I'm a motorized mechanic! OK??

  • @Enfamille16 That's why you're a mechanic. Yout don't know anything. 4x4 is different differential and gearset versus AWD where AWD is fulltime wether you have a 90/10 or 50/50 ratio. 4x4 you select 4 high or low and can go back to 2WD. I'm a automotive technician.

  • @gamer1389 -OK for the distribution of power before / defer evolutionary 90/10 or 50/50 permanent employee but in the end(final) this car it has 4 driving wheels yes or not Sir technician?? You play with words, the VW has a visco-coupler has limited sliding which distributed the power before back following the adhesion, effectively it is not a différenciel central! I ask you two questions: how many wheels advance this car, 2 or 4? This car is a 2 wheels or 4 wheels drive?

    Good reception

    Olivier

  • @Enfamille16 ITS NOT A 4X4, 4 motion and quattro systems are different then american trucks, 4x4 trucks only have two wheels turning, one in front and one in the back

    cant you see the difference,

  • @qopa92 I know, it's not a 4x4 permanent with crabotage of the front, back axles or exchange but according to the adhesion a part of the power passes in back wheels! Thus I maintain my question: has full power on a sliding ground how many wheels advance this car, 2 or 4? If you say to me 2, it is because you are someone of limited!

    In the pleasure.

  • Alright girls, lets end this missing match. Today we will learn about AWD and 4x4. First off we will get it off you minds, yes, both are 4 wheel driven. Now lets get in depth. 4x4 - uses a transfer case that may contain reduction gears, power delivered to front and rear wheels is the same, at all times. AWD - uses a center differential to divide power whether it be 25/75, 60/40, it's all divided.
