My daddy played this song for me and it made me cry. He was taking me home

and it'd been awhile since we'd drove anywhere together,he turns to me and said,'we aint just driving' He got me :( him talking about when I was a kid n we'd go and do things. I miss my kids..last time I held my 3yr old he said momma don't cry & I said, mommas just happy to see you. Things got complicated for the kids when we seprated.

My Grand daughter lives with us, this is so fitting! As a Mom I didn't appreciate the time the same as I do now but this is so true!! Fished with my kids and now with my grand-daughter and funny thing is Her Poppa is the light of her eyes every morning and the bed time kisses at night!!
