Everex used to be an amazing company. the 486' machines i have from them are still working. but the machines they make now are gak

I really like the hinge construction of the laptop, that is why I am interested on the device.

Everex has got to be one of the worst companies. I learned the hard way with the XT5000.

cloudbook looks so ugly cuz theres a ginormous hole inside

ok.. this may sound very stupid but how do you install XP into a CloudbBook? Does it barge up alot of the 30 precious GB and is it better than not installing it and just using the same old CloudBook format it used to have? Is Cloudbook something y'all would recommend? Thanks! Great video too btw!!!

the mouse thing on the right is a great idea. Muuuch better than the silly place in the middle

Excellent review! However, I was a bit disappointed that it wasn't designed to be upgradeable. The tiny mouse pad placed on the right while the buttons being on left seemed a bit awkward. The processing speed also appears slower than Eee PC. And it does look quite ugly...
But I still wanna get one and try it out if it stays under $400 for the US release. :)

I think it's slightly reminiscent of a Sega Mega Drive, nice 1980's black. Maybe someone could market a docking bay, with a top-loader cd drive to the right:)

The eee pc is useing a 900 mhz celeron, just underclocket at 600 mhz. Just until they get an stable bios, then it scould be clocket at 900 mhz. But lets see.
does anyone know if the eee pc's 900mhz celeronm is better or the via 1.2 ghz.

The eee runs at 600Mhz but in terms of raw processing power, they are fairly evenly matched. The Eee pc has better 3D graphics support.
