In this video, I demonstrate and show you how to build my latest design. Originally, I was working on making this, but with normal doors. It was harder to use and required a lever and control tower for serious use, and also took up more space, since the current needed to be inverted for both doors to open at the same time. Then, 1.6 came out, and it had trapdoors. I realized that it would be possible to achieve the exact same effect as the old design, but with less setup time and less space used.
In beta 1.6, Notch fixed boats floating to the surface rapidly, which means boats can no longer go upwards easily, as they used to. Unfortunately, that means this device can only drop boats down, not bring them up again. I hope some other method of elevating boats will be created soon. In the meantime, we'll have to deal with it.

So for some this up, you for no good reason just built an over-complicated way of putting a boat in the water. Now time to waste my time and build it after I wasted my time typing this comment which will most likely never get any likes. The End. xD
