  • this is totally serious. As far as their tails, they clip them as piglets when they dont have alot of nerves in their tails. They clip them so that they dont catch them on fences, or other pigs dont chew on them. It prevents injuries and infections for the pigs. And I hope you realize that if they didnt have this barn they would be out in the mud, rain, snow, etc. If you have such a problem with people raising animals indoors, I want you to raise your children out doors 27/7 365 days a year.

  • Is this from the Onion? Seriously, justifying keeping pigs- who are considered more intelligent than dogs - in a small pen inside a barn their entire lives by claiming that "takes away all the stresses of Ohio weather"? So they "can concentrate on being happy, healthy pigs"?????  And what happened to their tails??? ]
