What are the alternatives? I want to be able to shoot so if security takes my camera or memory sick I still have my images ...... FTP?

Well, I was thinking about it, but I guess I'll stay on mini USB cable connected to my Laptop. It's not worth more than a normal grip + around 50USD for Wifi module. At this price range, it's a toy for wealthy showoffs, not for a normal person.

@HedoBum totally agree with u man i had just looked up for this transmitter and was astonished at the freaking price! Hell no i wouldnt pay for that ill stick to CF cards as well.
He could probably announce the end of the world without causing riots, panic etc etc..

Guy doesn't seem too excited about the WFT-E5A...probably because he saw the price tag.
There is NO way that the WFT-E5A is worth the $650+ price. Maybe 5-10 years ago that price would have been somewhat reasonable but this day and age, that technology doesn't command that lofty a figure.
I agree with relent107luke...this unit should be priced more in the $250-$300 range. I'll stick with the CF cards until the price of the WFT-E5A comes out of the clouds.
