The EOS 7D is Canon's latest DSLR, built for those seeking the convenience and affordability of the EOS 50D, inspired by the image quality and HD video potential of the EOS 5D Mark II, and eager for the high performance and durability of the EOS-1D series.
This is a totally new class of camera built from the ground-up to capitalize on advances in Canon's AF system, EOS HD Video functionality, exposure performance, and other core technologies. Combined with the best existing features of the current EOS line, the EOS 7D goes beyond capturing amazing still images -- it's a complete media creation tool.

  • He could probably announce the end of the world without causing riots, panic etc etc..

  • Guy doesn't seem too excited about the WFT-E5A...probably because he saw the price tag.

There is NO way that the WFT-E5A is worth the $650+ price. Maybe 5-10 years ago that price would have been somewhat reasonable but this day and age, that technology doesn't command that lofty a figure.

I agree with relent107luke...this unit should be priced more in the $250-$300 range. I'll stick with the CF cards until the price of the WFT-E5A comes out of the clouds.

  • What are the alternatives? I want to be able to shoot so if security takes my camera or memory sick I still have my images ...... FTP?

  • Well, I was thinking about it, but I guess I'll stay on mini USB cable connected to my Laptop. It's not worth more than a normal grip + around 50USD for Wifi module. At this price range, it's a toy for wealthy showoffs, not for a normal person.

  • No way this thing should cost that much!

be for real this is real world not star trek

  • can i connet wirelessly from canoneos 60d to a laptop

  • I love how this guy smiles at the end of some sentences
