Venezuela has one of the highest murder rates in the world, and crime usually spikes in the days leading up to the new year. This is especially true in the slums of the capital, Caracas. One man has even resorted to unorthodox methods to counter the violence. Al Jazeera's Lucia Newman reports from Caracas. NOTE: this report contains graphic images.
