This is Session 5 of Seventeen from the DVD Seires on the life of Umar ibn Al Khattab (RA) By Imam Anwar Al awlaki titled "The Golden Era Government of Umar".

This nine-disks DVD PACK features, Shaykh Anwar effortlessly transports the viewer back to a unique place in Islamic history. This epic journey begins with Umars (RA) early life and conversion to Islam, to his close relationship with rasoolullah (SAW), to living through Abu Bakrs Khalifah, to eventually succeeding him as Khalifah and concluding with his Martyrdom. This series is over 20 hrs long and features UNCUT footage and also Q&A which was not included in the audio release.

Umar Ibn Al Khattab Radhi Allahu Anhu(May Allah be pleased with him) is the Second Most Closest Companion of Prophet Muhammad Peace be upon him after Abu Bark Siddique Radhi Allahu Anhu(May Allah be pleased with him).

The Prophet Mohammad peace be upon him said regarding Umar:

"If there were a Prophet after me verily it would be `Umar."

This is Narrated from `Uqba ibn `Amir by Ahmad and al-Tirmidhi who graded it hasan, and by al-Hakim (3:85) who graded it sahih as confirmed by al-Dhahabi.

This single hadeeth is sufficient to get an Idea of the virtues and caliber of this great human being. The Companions of the prophet Mohammad peace be upon him were a great and best Generation and amongst this best nation, Umar Ibn Al Khattab (RA) was amongst the Best of the Best.

"We are living in tumultuous times, but they are no less tumultuous than the era of Khalifah 'Umar Ibn al-Khattab whose life began in Jahiliyah and ended in the Golden Age of Islam. We can learn much from the history of this second caliph of Islam, who was faced with unprecedented challenges but met them successfully within the framework of Shari'ah and in accordance with the true spirit of Islam.

For those who would be leaders or are leaders, Umar (RA) offers the model of an ideal Muslim leader, one who felt responsible before Allah for the well being of all those under his rile, including his troops, women, infants, non-Muslims, and even animals. Caliph Omar was a "hands-on" leader who kept himself informed and consulted scholars and experts before every major decision.

For the rest of us, his life offers a window into an exciting and important period of Islamic history, and it also reminds of an important lesson, that our strength comes not from wealth or money or status, but from our submission to Allah and our commitment to the path of Islam."

@sstyrant88 lmao, shut up man he was the complete opposite of that, im sure he would of gotten murdered if he was a CIA agent lol. He was fighting against opression and tyranny, he was a muslim, and he wanted the Law of ALLAH the creator over the Law of the creation of Allah, humanity. That is brother Awlaki, and his death only makes his lectures that more enticing. The NWO or whatever you speak of are the companions of Satan, and they are indeed fuel for the fire, Jahannam, may allah guide you
