It's the job of the House to pass a debt increase then pass it to the Senate before the president signs the bill into law. Not the other way around as this incompetent liar suggests.
The president offered a plan to cut four trillion from the debt and the House baggers ordered the republicans to reject it.
They want to protect the richest people and corporations ability to concentrate wealth to themselves and drain the American middle class for everything they can get.

No plan from the president. No plan from the Democrat controlled Senate. The only plans out there are the five plans put forth by the republican controlled house. There has been no budget passed since Obama took office over 900 days ago. Democrats are refusing to do their jobs. The way it works is the haouses passes a bill, and the senate passes a bill, then the two bill go into committee to iron out the differences. Democrats are refusing to pass their bill.
