  • wise words.. I need to keep reminding myself that I will not be fulfilled. There is no real lasting happiness avaliable to us. But there is still part of me holding out for something to make me feel content and peaceful. it never comes... I feel sad and miserable most of the time.. I hate this human existance, pretending all the time, no one really knowing me, plagued with confusion and doubt.. ohh well will all end

  • @cjg28 Real lasting happiness is our present Condition. We need only see how we are disturbing reality AND let ourself be distracted by the word, presence, Person and State of the Spiritual Master. We need only look up from ourselves and look to see His Heart of Life and Love. Keep watching, admiring, understanding, being penetrated, being amazed and being loved by the One beyond time and space. Da

  • Understand the self. Recognize the Guru. Devote the body, mind, emotions, and breath to Him. Be willing to have resistance, dilemma, and failure arise in you forever. Make your practice turning to the One you recognize.

  • @delphiyes Christ Frank! Are you doing this practice moment to moment? Dual sensitivity and all that? I mean really! Check it out.

I know I'm not from my small, evil, murderous point of view.

His eyes are just taking in what is "Infinitely Above and Beyond". That's Salvation.

  • This is my practice. I'm lousy at it.

  • @delphiyes thank you for that I found it helpful.. I can use your advice to help my spiritual practice.. I can see that I lack faith at the moment :) x

  • Btw. Thanks for posting the such a beautiful Vision of Truth.

  • @meriprem The practice is to turn the faculties (body, emotion, mind, and breath) to the Guru. In so doing, my experience is that not only is one relieved of the reaction you describe, but one is infused by the divine living presence of Adi Da. That presence is not like anything else that one may experience. It is perfect, perfectly beautiful, and has a brilliance (in both senses - light and genius) about it.

  • @buildflow YES, as He says: "Those who see the Spiritual Master as God in Person must go on to transcend themselves and the person of the master in God Alone. There is no substitute for your own sacrifice in God."

  • Yes! I agree, it would be ideal to NOT react to one's sorrows and sufferings - but HOW????? Can someone who deeply understands this process kindly reply, thankyou.
