Its the insecurities of human interest to create "many" for their every need as in "poly" theism...you cant judge God based off of being human because it just doesnt fit God is not religion Jesus is not religion...if there was there be no reason for faith...they are the way of life. you cant judge God period...one more thing about God....the way i know he is real because he is the opposite of doubt...the opposite of questioning thyself. humans have too many questions but no answer its faith

Its amazing how humans can be so feeble minded, to doubt their creator. You can not apply human characteristics to the one and only true God. God is real because the knowledge o him is established through faith alone. Humans have become so obstructed and conformed by the physical bindings of this world, they completely doubt their place in his kingdom .God is a kind God because he created humans, not robots. If we were robots then we wouldnt have the ability to choose.

@priva1tm Unless we know for sure on how the DNA is read, I don't think we can make any assumptions on what mutations are likely, and which are not likely. We aren't quite at that level of understanding yet. The thing about evolution though... it doesn't require an intelligent designer.
Maybe people have had personal experiences with god, but I wouldn't know how genuine they are then other people have had similar experiences that would actually be contrary to Christianity.
-
@HewettT2 but don't get me wrong - i wouldn't waste your time trying to change anyone's opinion about something like this, since knowing God is the result of a uniquely personal experience with him, and no one can know or understand him unless/until He reveals himself to them. it's just that after i saw the vid i HAD to speak up in defense, because i just happen to be one of the billions of people who know Him, and who are known by Him... and that is because i asked
-
@HewettT2 flesh- that's why structurally we all look alike; because we look just like God- matter of fact you are your own best argument that God exists... every time u look in a mirror that's who u see - 'cause u look just like God
-
@HewettT2 an easy way to see it would be to take the billions of people
who have inhabited the earth. All of them who were born physically healthy had several things in common, the most obvious being 2 eyes, 2 ears, 1 nose, 1 mouth, legs, arms, etc
If the design and creation of these were a matter of random selection, it would be normal if some of those billions have only 1 eye, ear, leg, etc. but not so- we were apparently created from an intelligent pattern. God has these but are spirit not

@HewettT2 ok- then that means the 'chemist' (same lack of a better word) either always existed or somehow created his/her/it/ self ~ btw it isn't anything to me personally but where did ur mommy, and presumably daddy come from, and theirs... and theirs?
that's pretty much the whole point- since there's a good chance u
at least believe in cause & effect, that belief demands that
intelligent life as we know it was somehow 'started' & that 'start' required
a similarly intelligent 'starter'.

I, too, am an Athiest, but i dissagree with number 2.
god is the so-called creator of the universe, right? he created us and our language. he is almighty, knows everything. then why wouldent he be able to use words to comunicate with us? he can talk with any species he wants, hes god, he can do whatever the hell he wants.
if he was real, obiously..

@Zandonus The problem is all evil has its root in ignorance. To the extent religion grows out of superstition, and raw emotions like fear, it is potentially very dangerous. The "beast within" is tamed with reason, not by placating it with superstition. But, I will defend your freedom to believe what you want, provided it does no harm. No one can force anyone to believe anything, and I would not even try to do so.
@ezra0618 You cannot prove Planet Of The Apes did not happen.

@nexxuslord I have read the Bible, it's exactly the same as every other religious myth. Have you applied your critical mind to it or are you viewing it from the position of "I know this is right, I just have to prove it"? You should evaluate it objectively, and you will find that there is no discernable advantage to Christianity over other religions. Those who believe in "Satan" are Christians, by the way. Are you calling Christians Satanists? And you assume that I am "young", why is that?
