Hey brother no disrespect intended, but what up with your belt? i know its not a GB belt, and Im counting 5 degrees, which is not possible for your age in BJJ, and I think i see some japanese kanji? Is this belt from a different art and youre just using it for belt tying demonstration? It just looks funny with the GB gi is all and its a little misleading.

I was tubing BJJ belt reviews and came across this video. It's simple and easy to follow. What makes this a great video for beginners is that after a few practice trails any BJJ student can become a pro at tying their belt.
I always have to teach my new students how to do their hand wraps up for my MT class; so I can appreciate a good bit of instruction when I see it.
Cheers from GB PTY.

Thanks for posting this tutorial. It was very clear and I've finally got it.

belt comes off too easily this way.

This used to be my dojo a few years ago.
After I broke my hand, I jumped off and quit. Oh well.

someway this confuses me o-o
I made this video for my students to properly learn how to tie their belts. Yes, this is not my BJJ Black Belt, but rather my 5th Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do / Kickboxing. I think it is fairly obvious that the belt is not a BJJ Black Belt, for my Gracie BJJ Black Belt has the red sleeve on the belt. Since I do not have any stripes on my BJJ Black Belt yet (eligible for my first now), I used the one in the video to help my students with the correct placement of their stripes.
