I can understand why some people in the comments thought Big Star covered this song from Elliott, I mean even the original sounds a fair bit like one his songs! Elliott was quite influenced by them....AHH I LOVE THEM ALL :)

It does not matter how someone heard about this song. If they heard it first on that 70's show, knew it from their childhood or even heard it riding in the car with their parents, the point is that now the song is known to another person.
