Jacobitism was a movement suited for its time, restoring the king and all that. Most Jacobites only supported the cause because their situation was so miserable, not for any belief in Jacobitism itself. In this day and age though, we need a new kind of Jacobitism: the restoration of the common man as king. That is Republicanism, and that is why Scotland will be free.

Zzzzzz. Neither side who fought at Glencoe have anything at all to do with these commie republicans and separatism. Jacobitism was an ultra-conservative ultra-monarchist movement, which wanted to restore the Stuarts to the entire British Isles. Glencoe was carried out by Scots such as the Campbell's to keep a constitutional monarchy and parliamentary system in place rather than autocracy.
