Sounds nonsense to me, no offense. If god created the world, is all knowing and all-powerful, why does his "son" have to "overcome" the world?

True brother. Love is god, ur heart is god, not some book, not some text. All they teach you is how to find and show love & compassion. The book is just a guide. But sadly, we fight over the damn books and prophets. So stupid.

@arul20 : You're right, the world is obsessed with money and power. However, we can take peace in the fact that Jesus Christ has overcome the world, as He says in His word.

@arul20 "Our Father in heaven" -- We need to always acknowledge first and foremost who we are talking to. He (God) is our heavenly Father. We address Him with respect just as we should address our earthly father with respect. He is the only true God who created all things in this universe, including ourselves. He loves us and we need to show our love for Him.
