thank you very much for you help

Know whats even better for double-heading is live steam that way you can controll the locos separately to make up for ones with more power than the other.
Also live steam if the power goes out you can still use them. :)

Thanks mate. And with the 2 locos on one Autocoach, the idea was that one would take it but both needed to get back to Chapel Street to work other services so it seemed a good idea.lol.

i was just wondering how or what you use to keep the track so clean so that the trains go smoothly. im thinking of having a garden railway but ive encountered this problem
thanks.

@maxresnikoff My railway is cleaned every 3rd run, depending on the length of time between sessions. I use "emry paper"; you know, the grey stuff, bit like sand paper but not as rough. I get the thick dirt to free up with the paper and then wipe it with a duster or rag or something. This gives a clean silver finish. In the past I've also used the PECO track rubbers which are also good. Hornby track cleaning coach is however unaffective outdoors! haha! Cheers.

Is your railway analog or DCC?
RASDV 2 years ago
Analog. Anything double-headed sees the locos having to have the same motor speed. We have alot of older locos which it would be a bit of a pain to chip so we don't use DCC. Cheers
