Hear your tune "Out West", and it, like the western US is amazing....the Collings is magnificent...

not sure how this one slipped past me, dave ... really terrific

That Collings sounds magnificent, and you really bring out its gentle side. I would love to hear how it sounds strummed hard, especially if it is tuned down a bit. I'll bet the sound is huge.

You play with lots of "feel". Beautiful sound. Thankyou. Tanti auguri !!

Is that the Mahogany model with an Adi top? I'm Trying to decide if I'd like a CJ with a Rosewood or Mahogany back. Do you have an opinion as to which is best for what purpose? There are no dealers near me to try them out.
Beautiful playing as always!

Thanks . . . This guitar is East Indian Rosewood with a Sitka top. I really don't have an opinion about your question -- they can both sound great -- depends on what your ears prefer. I'll refer you to the UMGF (Martin guitar forum), Collings Guitar Forum or Acoustic Guitar Forum -- if you search these forums, you'll find TONS of information on differences in tonewoods, from amateurs and experts alike . . .

There's no pick-up on the guitar -- it's recorded with a mic, if that's what you mean. Thanks for listening.
