The Queen does not own the large diamond you refer to. It belongs to the Crown Jewels and as such belongs to the State and by extension to Citizens of Commonwealth realms and territories. It is not the personal property of Her Majesty; though she is entitled to use it being the Queen of the UK and a number of other countries and territories. Also, the use of the Vice- Regal throne at Dublin Castle is meant to suggest the independence of Ireland from Britain and in no way connects to the Crown.

Another interesting fact is that Her Majesty can cut down any tree in Canada and use it as she sees fit.

No, it is phrased entirely correctly. This is what makes it so facetious. It was voted the most ludicrous law by the British public in 2007.
