  • this is great where is this school at??

  • @ElKrill14 This school is in Fresno, California. The band director at the time, Ramiro Barrera, has been at James Logan High School since the late 1990s.

  • Thanks for the comment, unbearablepleasures. This was an amazing experience. I'm always impressed by what we could do as kids and what I saw by various groups at Western States, DCI and WGI, etc.

  • Old school marching band, gotta love it. clovis west has a bad ass field show this year also and its quite amazing. if only the high schools saved the old uniforms :(

  • Loved this show! Wish I still had my dress, I had to loan it to some one for winterguard. Are guards smaller now? I watches a 2010 WG show and there were only 13 girls, another guard had 15...

  • impressive!! i wish there were videos of CWHS band performances from '96 - '99...proud to have been in this band back then.

  • O_O Theres so many guard kids! I wish we had that many. Great show! :3

  • In 1994, Clovis West attended the 30th Annual Selma Marching Band Festival. Using this routine, they won the Field Show Sweepstakes. Director Ramiro Barrera and his group of musicians did a superb job. Clovis West is also a two time Grand Champion of the Selma Marching Band Festival winning the top award in 1985 and 1990. Unfortunately, Clovis West has not been back since 1994. Come back to Selma next year for the 46th Annual Selma Marching Band Festival!!

  • Variation No.3 (The opener), might be my favorite piece of music ever written, and I've always wondered what a marching band would do with it. SCV did The Epilogue in '97, but this is just incredible.
