@crimron I would say china is MUCH better at propoganda directed at its own citizens. It's managed to convince most of its population that Tibet has always been part of china despite the fact that it was conquered only 61 years ago. The US couldn't pull that shit off, not a chance.

Notice how one of the Chinese students says that Tibet had slavery. What the Chinese student said was true. It's just that the Westerners are so brainwashed by the media that they are ignorant on this issue. It seems to be that those who support Tibet do no extensive research.
If you read Michael Parenti's essay, he talks about the slavery and the torture that happened under the Dalai Lama.

hey u spike378...its nt abt we not accepting chinese n all k. we r fighting for our own country "TIBET", which is not the part of china. its true dat china invaded Tibet since 1959, so we r nt asking for full freedom bt asking for de human rights n de tibetan people who r al around de world can return to dere mother land.

we hav a reason to protest, n its bcoz, tibetan people who r dere in Tibet r being tortured.

nott genius must be thinking of the other Tibetan who went silent..the reason he went silent is because he did not understand the word slaves and the people next to him were not able to translate the meaning to him so he lost his train of thought..not understanding the word slave is not exactly evidence of Tibetan monks keeping slaves..
