Sublime, ridiculous and an epic project to boot... Noah Harris won this one in April 07 and delivered the final spots in November, 7 months later. The new look combines live action, stop motion and CG and takes place in 5 full size sets, each based around a mundane, day to day location. There is a huge amount of stop animation going on in each scene and each ident took a week to shoot.. and a lot longer to plan.
When the cameras start to roll the environments are transformed into deranged E4 spaces where pretty much anything goes. Noah has moved away from a traditional 'brand' approach and the E4 logo is rendered in a number of different ways. Each spot also features a small yellow toy pig (based on one by Noah's grandmother made many years ago).
