Hellfire...YumYumRolex from the MPC forums...you are my hero...

@djhellfire1 ok fasho thnx thats what i was thinkin. what s the point of doing that. is it to add effects seperately or is it better for mastering or both ?
-
@bdailey412 Actually, since Reason is running in Rewire mode, the MPC is midi'd into Pro Tools and Pro Tools routes the midi to Reason and Reason routes the audio back into Pro Tools.
-
So you have a the mpc midi into reason and the audio routed in the pro tools correct?

This Seems So Tedious, what are the advantage of using an mpc as the midi controller over usb keyboard or pads? I haven't used my MPC in eons, I would like to use it, but i grew up on DAWs, it was hard to switch to the mpc like that

@Charles0in0charge Some people just like the feel of the pads. The major advantage is being able to use your own sound library in your MPC in combination with the Reason sounds. Being able to use the "16 Levels" feature on the MPC is nice. And the quantizing on the MPC is a bit more intuitive than Reason/Regroove. As far as it being tedious, it's no different than using a midi controller. It's just recording the notes in the MPC's sequencer verses recording the notes in Reasons sequencer.

@BZdaKritta It means to record each mpc sound to a separate track in your daw.

@bdailey412 That was Pro Tools 8. 9 wasn't out when I made this. I'm on 9 now though!
