  • hey matt, i was wondering how did you hook up the synth controller in order to work with the maschine at the same time?

  • @secondcityu any controller will work, transposed to the sound, as long as it is selected in the MIDI preferences

  • Quik question: How do I set up Maschine to use my Pro Tools Instruments as Plugins in The Maschine Modules?

    Thanx

  • @DeeJayPickUp you can't. Those PT plugins are only available inside of PT. Same goes with the Logic plugins.

  • Matt,

I have one question and hope you can help me. In your video at 03:41 min after switching to step sequencer mode you slide/glide with your finger from pad 13 over 9, over 5 to pad 1 in order to place a kick there. However I tried to do it as well but it does not work for me. It seems that my maschine does not understand this move and I need to press each pad one by one.

Many thanks for your hint in advance.

  • @netlivedj hard to say why yours doesn't work. The pads are very sensitive and you just have to make sure to hit each pad as you drag across

  • @mcsg27 Not sure if people have said this earlier, but you can actually use Logic plugins outside of Logic. They show up in ableton, but they have no GUI connected to them, just a mess of sliders in the default Ableton style. Not sure it works that way in maschine, though, cause I see none of them on the browser. Would be semi useless anyways I suppose. Just really miss having the Logic badass reverb at my disposal.

  • Is your midi keyboard connected via midi to the maschine or to your pc\sound interface???

    thanks a lot.

  • check my video of running BATTERY 3 in MAschine

  • Thanks for the tutorial. It opens up a whole new dimension in maschine for me.

  • @netlivedj sorry for the double post!
