"Saudade" has been described as a "vague and constant desire for something that does not and probably cannot exist ... a turning towards the past or towards the future".
A stronger form of Saudade may be felt towards people and things whose whereabouts are unknown, such as a lost lover, or a family member who has gone missing. It may also be translated as a deep longing or yearning for something which does not exist or is unattainable.

I hope you like it.
I hope to be more active here until I fly to France to play with Jasper (vabejas) and Damien (damguitar) on the 24th. July.
Sheet music and Tab are available at

Hugs all around.

  • Just curious: How many guitars do you have, Mr. Per-Olov? By the way, I listen to you daily.

  • Hi there,

I only have three guitars: This one (Philippe jean-Mairet) a Per Hallgren (2011) and a 7 stringed by John & Judy Rogerson (2009)

    Thanks for listening to me.

  • The first movement in D-minor (if I'm not mistaken) represents the missing of something or someone, wether it is something that happened, or someone who's gone or something that simply is not there. The second movement in D major, represents how would it be if that something or someone was still there or simply were there. The last movement in D-minor represents a sudden back to reality. Or at least that's the way I feel it. Excellent music.

  • @henriquenirvanales8D it exists in Brazil too...
