Mad Intentions is a young band based in Burnie, TAS, with the members ages range from 16-18.

MI kicked off their musical careers in 2005, where they performed covers at their high school and won a number of Battle of the Bands comps.

It was in 2007 that Mad Intentions really started to take off, fuelled by the addition of a new bass player and a fresh take on their original songs.

The band has continued to develop their sound, and along with a number of private gigs, they recently performed in the Tas Music Rock Challenge in Burnie.

08 presented the boys with huge opportunities. November saw MI record their originals, an experience that they found to be educational and exciting. Most recently Mad Intentions supported Jimmy Barnes and Diesel at the Breath of Life concert, and in March they performed alongside Horsell Common and Trial Kennedy at the Batty Hotel.

Mad Intentions continue to develop their sound, and are set to take on the Australian music scene in the years to come.
