The Moon Bird - Trailer

Completed in January 2010, The Moon Bird is a dark fairytale about an orphan girl who must outwit a terrible sorceress with the help of a magical lunar bird. The film is a short animation fifteen minutes long funded through the UK Film Council, Screen WM and CHANNEL 4. Watch out for The Moon Bird at international film festivals throughout 2010.

Love the look of this - I wish they made these kinds of films more accessible to view - almost impossible to get to watch the whole film if you cant make a screening - make them available to download pleeeease!!

@cathrynstonemusic Agree it,s amazing, loved it when it was on TV last Christmas, and fortunate enough to see it on the screen at Plymouth Peninsula Art Gallery....are C4 screening it again this Christmas???

I usually enjoy more mainstream animated films/shorts but the beautific simplicity of this gothic piece has really captured my imagination - saw it on CH4 very late a week ago and I can't get the score out of my head!!!

@brothermcleod thank you, unfortunateli the service from channel 4 isn't aviable in switzerland. so I can't watch it. but i've seen it on channel 4 at christmas.
