GREY GARDENS: From East Hampton to Broadway looks at how their lives set the stage for the Maysles film and later the Broadway musical, both of which have impacted the art, entertainment and fashion communities.

In this clip, documentarian Albert Maysles believes the only way Big Edie and Little Edie could truly be themselves was to become recluses.
