Senator Conroy's plan to force ISPs to filter content won't work. It will slow the 'net down. Block thousands of legitimate sites. Waste tax payers money. And IEEE 802.11s will bypass any filters anyway with the customer-as-isp.

  • Fantastic! The new method of solving problems by the Australian government.

    Make everyone suffer.

Kids drinking? Raise the price for everyone.

People speeding? Speed bumps for all!

Kids looking at boobs? Slow net for all!

  • LOL Welcome to the Socialist Republik of Australistan!

  • @iscay666 yeah lets hope we don't hear any more about this socialist shit!, seems australia still has some balls!

  • @Aussie50 95% Of australians said. Fuck off you dumb religous cunt ball to this proposal.

  • This is the stupidest thing the government's done.

Sexual abuse will probably go up, due to pervs not being able to watch prno!

PLUS for the rest of us they slow the fucking net down!

I hate this fucking government, I'm going to leave the country when I'm older.

  • your description says it will block 100's of legitimate sites. That is a wrong statement. The government has released a report stating that only 1% of websites will be misleadingly blocked (even though it will be far higher then that)... but if we do go by that percent, keeping in mind that most experts will accept a figure of around 18`000`000`000 websites, 1% would be 180`000`000 websites........so its tens of millions websites mis-blocked

  • Ah sweet, some of my photos are in here. Creative Commons for the win!
