Wilderness System kayak. Tarpon 140. I've spent the last couple years getting rigged. I put a trolling motor on it, minn kota 30lb, that has foot controlled steering and a control next to my knee. An Eagle depth finder. Traditional milk crate w/ 45* rod holders. I also put a retractable rope on it to use with my anchor. I put an Everstart Marine battery that fits in the dry storage front to power everything. And built a dolly for it using bike tires.

THANKS! I bought the $100 minn kota transom mount trolling motor at basspro. cut the mount to screw to kayak. Cut the shaft, used a 7pin connector like you use for trailer breaks to make the connection at the back. pulled the controls out of the top of the trolling motor, mounted the 5 speed switch by my knee. lol ok bit more than just tada, it was a great project for me to spend time with my dad and work on though. The cables are stainless leader wire (like salt fishing) so they wont rust.

Awesome Yak, what trolling motor do you have and does it come with the ability to rig it like that, or did you design that yourself? I would love to do that to my 140. Thanks
