Title: A Progress Report on an Experimental Mathematics Project.
Abstract: Following up on a projects started in the Experimental
Mathematics class we uncovered a potentially new Combinatorial
approach to investigating properties of Numbers. The approach
rests on the observation that numbers can be identified with
familiar combinatorial objects namely rooted trees. The
bijection between numbers and trees provides some insights into
unexpected connexions between Number theory, combinatorics and
discrete probability theory
