u can use this thing if u don't wanna show ur face i do that but i don't use it using that effect i use it with my jacket's hood covering my face XD

i can do it with moviestudio without masking.
first inport a fully black image then make a video and pan crop and keyframe with timeline. but dont forgot to make the black image the size of the head. so zoom out.

You could of mentioned how to do a moving object. I mean its pretty simple, but most people don't know.
For those who want to know, go to event pan/crop, and go one keyframe at a time at the bottom timeline, and drag the mask wherever the face is for each keyframe.
