  • I think you're in my video. Is that you dressed all in beige at 6:18-ish?

Your video is nice. I like the color contrast at the beginning between the Red-Orange train and the Green grass - makes for a great image!

  • Thanks. Yours is good too. You went to a lot of effort to get so many scenes from different locations, and all on foot! I cheated a little, driving from one end to the other.

Yes, that's me, filming the scene that appears in this video starting at about 4:30. You can see the guy who leans out in front of me for a photo at 4:55 in my video at 6:36 in your video.

  • Nice video!

I bet there would have been great steam today with this snow and cold air :-(

And ... I wish they could run it somewhere that didn't have the fences, electric lines, telephone poles and signs all over the place!

  • I agree about all the obstructions, but at least there is a place they can run. They only made a couple of runs in the snow but I caught them: see the video response I posted.

  • Did you see someone wearing a San Francisco Giants coat and a Niles Canyon Railway hat while you were there?

If you did, That Was Me =D!!

  • I was on the 6:00 train that day, my first ride behind 4449. I look forward to next year.

Oh and I meet Doyle and he sighned my ride ticket.

  • I thought so... There were so many people down there with cameras, it was bound to happen! I still haven't found myself in anyone else's vids yet, but it's fun to look.

Yeah, that was a long day of walking for me. I guess my hope was to loose a few pounds in the process? Not sure how successful I was.

I hear she's headed to WI this summer? I'll be out of the country, so I'll miss her departure, but maybe I'll catch her on her way back home...

Take care, and keep up the good vids!

  • I braved the snow and caught the couple of runs they made. See the video response I posted.
